FINN Harps have announced the last six players to join their under-15 squad for the 2020 season.
They are: Ben O’Donnell (Re-signed), Fintan Doherty (Re-signed), Cian McMenamin (Kilmacrennan Celtic), Jay Bradley (Cockhill Celtic), Conor McGinty (Cappry Rovers) and Adam Campbell (Milford United).
The 2020 squad sees two members of last year’s squad return to the fold, Ben O’Donnell and Fintan Doherty, and McBride believes the experience gained by the returning duo will benefit the entire squad.
He said: “It’s great to have lads on board that have experienced training and playing at National League level.”
The remainder of the squad – Cian McMenamin (Kilmacrennan Celtic), Adam Campbell (Milford United), Jay Bradley (Cockhill Celtic) and Conor McGinty (Cappry Rovers) – have graduated from schoolboy football.
McBride complimented the great work that clubs are doing across the county.
He said: “The calibre of player continues to get better and better each year and that’s down to the clubs and coaches at grassroot level.
“Clubs have been very supportive of the national leagues and they want to see their players challenge themselves at the highest level possible. I would like to thank the clubs for supporting their players and hopefully we’ll add to their development.”
