RYAN Rainey scored a stunning goal – his first for the club – as Finn Harps moved off the relegation play-off spot.

With Harps leading through an early own goal by Mick McDonnell when Rainey let fly in the 37th minute
Barry McNamee’s corner wasn’t death with by Longford and Rainey’s ferocious volley flew to the top corner.
Mark Anthony McGinley, the Harps goalkeeper, was on top form to keep another clean sheet – his second in a row – as Harps defeated the Premier Division’s bottom side.
McGinley brilliantly saved from Aodh Dervin just moments before Rainey doubled the lead.
McDonnell put through his own net in the 14th minute as he diverted Jordan Mustoe’s cross beyond his own goalkeeper.
Tunde Owolabi’s header flew over early in the second half while McGinley saved well from McDonnell at the other end.
The Harps goalkeeper also thwarted Aaron O’Driscoll while Harps manager Ollie organ was sent off in the second half,
Substitute Sean Boyd added the third game when he headed in McNamee’s corner six minutes from the end.
Boyd then added the third goal when heading home McNamee’s corner on 84 minutes.
