Finn Harps Under-17s will aim to build on their recent hammering of Longford Town when they face Sligo Rovers at The Showgrounds tonight (8pm).
Declan Boyle’s team lost their opening game 3-1 to Bohemians, but bounced back in style two weeks ago in Killygordon when they recorded a 4-0 win over Longford.
James Carolan bagged a hat-trick and Odhrán McGuinness netted in the rout.
For former Harps skipper Boyle, the clean sheet was the key aspect of that game.
Boyle said: “We have set a target of 10 clean sheets so that’s one down and nine to go. The lads have set that target. If you get a clean sheet, it makes all the difference.”
