TORI PEÑA FINISHED in fifth spot in the women’s pole vault at the Millrose Games in New York last night.
The Finn Valley AC woman cleared 4.40 metres to take the fifth spot at the prestigious games at The Armory in Washington Heights.
Peña is looking forward to the 2016 Olympic Games having qualified last July with a 4.50m clearance at Rottach-Egern in Germany.
The Californian, who joined Finn Valley in 2010, has a busy schedule ahead as she readies herself for Rio in August.
The women’s pole vault was won by Greek competitor Katerina Stefanidi, who successfully cleared 4.90m with Demi Payne, Sandi Morris and Megan Clarke next in line.
