Leaders Lagan Harps and Illistrin continue to lead the way in the Under-12 League while Bonagee claimed another big scalp when they defeated Mulroy Academy (S). Meanwhile, Mulroy Academy and Lagan Harps maintained their joint leadership of the Arena 7 Under-16 League
Swilly Rovers 0 Â Illistrin FC 3
Played in excellent conditions in Swilly Park on Monday evening it was the away team that came away with all three points but they were made to work very hard throughout.
Both teams played some excellent football in the opening fifteen minutes but goalkeepers Aine Connolly for Swilly and Aoibhin Randles for Illistrin were in top form. Â Also playing well for Swilly in the opening period was Tamara Blaney, Mae McCarron, and Kirsten Stewart.
The away team took control of the game for the next five minutes as they fired home three great goals.
The first resulted from great work from Claire Gallagher down the right and her cross fell to Nicole McDaid who squared the ball for Myah McBride who finished with a great shot to the bottom corner.
McDaid assisted again a minute later as she fed Ciara Molloy and she made no mistake with a neat finish.  Molloy then let fly from just inside the Swilly half with a thunderous shot that smashed off the crossbar.  It was three when Aobha Ni Aragain’s clearance over the top of the Swilly defence was well controlled by Nicole McDaid and she calmly rounded the keeper to finish to the net.
Swilly pushed hard to get a goal back at the end of the half with good work from Katie O’Gorman and Emily Irwin on the left and the industrious work of Heather McLaughlin in the midfield. A couple of good shots from McLaughlin were well saved by Aoibhin Randles.  Illistrin’s defensive trio of Darcey Kelly, Aobha Ni Aragain, and Aoife Toye were standing firm.
The second half saw end to end action with Claire McCarron and Eimear Connolly defending well for Swilly Rovers against the attacking threat of Sarah Robinson,Sarah McGinley, Aoibhin Randles, and Leanne McGettigan for Illistrin.
Eryn Cannon and Caitlin Doherty were trying hard to penetrate the Illistrin FC defence but Katelyn Doherty and the excellent Aobha Harrigan were defending very well.
At the other end the away team almost extended their lead when Ciara Molloy played a great pass to Nicole McDaid and her goal bound effort was well saved by Aine Connolly.
Swilly kept trying to the end with Claire McCarron and Julieanne O’Hanlon giving their best.
Both teams performed very well in a great match with end to end action.
Bonagee 2 Mulroy Academy S 0Â
Bonagee Unuted under 12 girls put in another top class performance on Monday and defeated Mulroy 2-0 with both goals coming from Chloe creevy.
Bonagee started fast and got there just rewards after only three minutes after a good ball from Hannah Hopkins put through Creevy who made no mistake with her shot.
The home side were well on top throughout the game and Hannah Hopkins made some great runs down the wing.
Her sister Katherine Hopkins had a fine game in centre-mid working really hard on a wet night.
Bonagee United U12s
Mulroy could of grabbed a goal but only for the defence of Eva Harvey, Ella Black and Cliodha Patton who did another fine job and kept the Mulroy attack very quiet.
Good link up play between Creevy and the Hopkins sisters could of resulted in a goal only for the ball eventually to go out for a corner.
Katherine Hopkins after receiving a good ball from Amy Callaghan played through the on-running Creevy who once again made no mistake with her shot and made it 2-0.
A great game played with great spirit from both team.
Best for Mulroy were Aoife Sweeney and Kelly Carr.
Team performance from Bonagee with the player of the match going to Chloe Creevy.
Kilmacrennan Celtic 0 Lagan Harps 4
Lagan Harps continued their impressive form beating the young Kilmacrennan side 4-0 on Monday evening.
Two first half goals by Erin Doherty put Lagan on their way.
Erin got her hat-trick shortly after the restart and Amy Doherty got her first goal at U12 level.
Lagan wish Siobhan Cameroon a speedy recovery with her arm injury.

Finn Valley 2 Gweedore United 1
Finn Valley scored a first win of the season on Monday night. Sarah Conaghan and Amber Gallagher netted the goals for the winners while Aoife Ferry bagged the goal for Gweedore.
ARENA 7 UNDER-16 LEAGUE
Kilmacrennan Celtic 3 Lagan Harps 4
The u16 league recommenced after the break for the exams.
Lagan controlled the first half with goals from Bronagh Gallagher and Paula Velles. Courtney Gallagher had two good saves from shots by Ciara McGarvey and Aoife Kelly.
Holly Canning set up Jessica Leese however her shot was well saved by Orla Corry. Erin Doherty was playing excellent in defence stopping the dangerous Helena McGee on a few occasions.
The second have was a very entertaining half.
Helena McGee from a long ball by Gemma McFadden ran clear to score a great shot. Lagan then scored twice with Bronagh Gallagher getting her second after great work by Clodagh Sweeney and Emily McDevitt.
Rhianna Devenney shot from the corner of the 18 in sailing into the top corner.
Kilmacrennan got a foot on the ball with Aoife Kelly scoring and Helena McGee getting her second. Kilmacrennan were unlucky not to level with a fine strike by Ciara McGarvey on the final whistle.
Best for Lagan Erin Doherty and Serena McCrossan with Molly Page and Ciara McElwaine playing well for Kilmacrennan.
Swilly Rovers 0 Mulroy Academy 6
Mulroy Celtic hit Swilly Rovers for six on Friday night at Swilly Park. Swilly played for long spells with ten players and were understrength for long spells as a result.
Lisa Dugera scored a brace while Caoimhe Herron, Keri Sweeney, Laura Dugera and Lauren McBride were on the mark.
