Dylan Browne McMonagle’s rich vein of form continued at Geesala Co Mayo at the weekend when he recorded another four timer on a lovely day at the western venue.
The 15-year-old, fresh from his five-day break across the water with the 20 times Champion jockey AP McCoy, brought his tally to 67 winners for the season.
The champion elect got the ball rolling in the opener when Dingle winner Unhinged took the 14 hands race in effortless style winning eased down close to home by all of six lengths.
Dylan soon doubled up when golden mile second Uppsala at the Dingle races went one better to win in good style in the 1mile non winners event.
The treble was landed when triple crown 14/2 Dingle champion Five Stone Of Lead barely broke sweat to come in an absolute stroll in front of the huge holiday crowd.
His red letter day was completed when Half Price bounced back to form to hold the late thrust of Storm Force in the open mile race.
Dylan was also awarded champion jockey on the day.
Brandon Wilkie McGlinchey, who was out of luck at the Dingle races due to a nasty tumble, bounced back in the best possible fashion by taking the concluding race aboard Hit The Diff landing a bit of a touch for connections in the process.
Racing continues this Sunday 26th at Hillsborough Farm Ramelton with a 2.30 pm start.
