The Weather was not suitable for golf on the weekend past and hopefully there will be a improvement in the weather conditions this week.
Well done to Brendan Kelly who won on Wednesday last with a score of 41pts. It is great to see him back in the winner’s circle. We are getting to the business end of the Golfer of the Year (top Twenty) competition. This week we have the Christmas hamper which is a GOY competition. The top Twenty and Golfer of the Year will be decided at the end of play on Sunday Evening. We wish everyone the best of luck.
As you know, the club AGM is being held this coming Saturday evening the 21st November at 5.00pm. It is being held earlier this year and at a more convenient time in order to suit our non-local members, some of whom have to travel a considerable distance. The hope is that people will be able to have a round of golf, attend the AGM, and still get back home in good time.
Christmas is fast approaching and we would like to update you on what’s happening here at the club in the run-up to the festive season.

Function Room for Private parties:
We have hosted a number of private functions in the clubhouse recently and these have proved to be a great success. If you, or someone you know, is organising a private function please be aware that the clubhouse is available free of charge, with exclusive use for the occasion.
So far, the feedback that we have been getting is that the golf club is the ideal venue for parties of up to one hundred people. Please make contact with Sarah if you are interested in holding a function at the clubhouse (074 91 36335)
