DUNFANAHY ABC have confirmed 15 superb contests for a club tournament against a Donegal-Derry select tomorrow evening.
Action in the Ozanam Centre in Dunfanaghy gets underway at 8pm, with a whole host of top-class bouts down for decision.
Reigning Irish Boy 1 36kgs champion Bernie McDonagh leads the home punchers.
Last year, McDonagh defeated Castlebar’s Jake Kelly in Dublin to scoop the national crown. Tomorrow evening. McDonagh faces Letterkenny ABC’s Conor Gordon on his home canvas.
Ciara Craig is another Dunfanaghy puncher who has been at a high level.
Having suffered agony in a 2015 Girl 4 final against Ardagh Cross fighter Megan Joyce, Craig was a Gold medal winner at the Hull Box Cup in England last June. Craig is in action in Dunfanaghy when she meets Emer Byrne from Oakleaf ABC.
Kristina McFadden and Sean Kelly are another two Dunfanaghy boxers with Irish final experience. McFadden takes on Stacey Curran from Bundoran with Kelly meeting Letterkenny’s Adam Enfield.
