DONEGAL jockey Luke McAteer rode his latest winner yesterday evening at Dundalk.
The Rathmullan man took 7/2 favourite Able Jack to victory in the www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap for trainer Pat Murphy.
It was the second win in five days for the six-year old having won at Dundalk at odds of 12/1 under Gavin Ryan’s direction.
McAteer had half-a-length to spare with A Likely Story (5/1) in second.
“He seems to have found his form again and obviously the cheek pieces are working,” trainer Murphy said.
“I had him entered so he could run in a 45-65 handicap again.
“We’ll give him a little bit of a break over the Christmas and see what we’ll do then, Luke gave him a great ride.”
