Finn Harps have been hit with a double suspension blow ahead of a busy weekend for Ollie Horgan’s side.
Harps take on St Patrick’s Athletic at Richmond Park on Friday before taking on champions-elect Cork City at Finn Park on Monday.
In-form Caolan McAleer will have to sit out both games.
The Omagh man has accumulated 12 yellow cards and has been slapped with a two-game ban by the FAI’s Disciplinary Controls Unit (DCU) and will miss both the St Pat’s and Cork fixtures.
Paddy McCourt will serve a suspension in Friday’s game in Dublin as a result of his red card in the recent League defeat to Galway.
McCourt, who was not in the Harps squad for the weekend’s FAI Cup win over Bohemians, was sent off in the 3-1 loss to Galway and has to sit out this one, but will be available for the Cork game, a fixture that is to be shown live on RTÉ 2.
Meanwhile, St Patrick’s Athletic’s Killian Brennan will miss Friday’s game after reaching the five bookings threshold.
