TWIN TOWNS BC’s Donna Barr heads for Sheffield tomorrow with the Irish Women’s Elite team for a training camp.
Barr is one of seven boxers making the trip for a week-long training camp at the English Institute of Sport.
Boxers from Ireland, Great Britain, France, Germany and the Czech Republic will be taking part in the camp.
Coaches Eddie Bolger and Pat McDonagh will look after a team that includes Twin Towns flyweight Barr.

Last week, Barr took part in a no-decision, exhibition contest against American Amanda Pavone (pictured above by Geraldine Diver) – a seasoned puncher with over 70 fights to her name – as a Donegal Boxing Team faced the Boston Boxing Academy in Letterkenny.
