Tuesday was a busy and exciting evening at the Finn Valley Centre for the Donegal Fastest Child finals.
There was a large crowd in unseasonably excellent weather for a fun event supported by schools from as distant as Killybegs, Clonmany, Belcruit Acres and Loughanure.

The project is driven each year by a group of coaches from Finn Valley AC and Athletics Ireland Development Officer Dermot McGranaghan as part of an annual programme of Fastest Child, Sportshall, Track/Field and cross country that more and more schools are engaging with.
Each child received a memento on check in and then it was time for the action on a well prepared track, outdoors on this occasion as, due to weather, it’s normally held indoors
