Mulroy Academy won the Donegal Women’s League U12 League last Monday thanks to an emphatic win over Swilly Rovers in Ramelton.

Both teams started well with Swilly defending well against a strong Mulroy outfit.
Mulroy opened the scoring with Eva Blaney on 12 minutes and went two up just two minutes later with Rachel Friel on the mark.
They increased their advantage soon after with a good strike from Megan McLaughlin.
Clodagh Herron added a fourth and McLaughlin got her second on 26 minutes.
Swilly started the second half better but Mulroy’s defence stood strong.
Eva Blaney and Rachel Friel completed the scoring for Mulroy.
Best for Swilly were Claire McCarron and Anna Boal, while a solid team performance from Mulroy secured the title.
