DONEGAL’S UNDER-21 footballers will compete in a four-team tournament in preparation for the 2016 Ulster Under-21 Championship.
The North-West Under-21 Cup will be run in January and will see Declan Bonner’s Donegal take on Sligo, Fermanagh and Mayo.
Donegal meet Sligo on January 2nd before taking on Fermanagh a week later on January 9th with a game against Mayo on January 16th. Venues and times for the games have yet to be confirmed.
The top two teams will contest the final on January 23rd.
Bonner has taken over from Maxi Curran as the Donegal Under-21 boss having had a successful period as the Donegal minor manager.
Several of the Under-21s have been called up to Rory Gallagher’s Donegal senior panel and are expected to feature in the Dr McKenna Cup next month.
