DONEGAL TOWN FC have unveiled details of a fundraising golf classic, to be held on Friday-week, May 6th, at Donegal Golf Club.
“Donegal Town FC is an amateur soccer club located behind the hospital in Donegal Town.
“As a club, we facilitate the year round training of between 200 – 300 adults and children including underage teams of both boys and girls from the ages of six to sixteen on a weekly basis.
“Last September the Club completed a €35,000 renovation and upgrade to our Astro Turf Facility. This amenity is in constant use by both the club and many of the Donegal Town community groups and schools.
“With plans now afoot to renovate our changing room and shower facilities, the committee continues to strive towards providing top class facilities for the local community of children and adults to enjoy soccer.
“To assist in the cost of the completed and upcoming renovations, the club are holding our Inaugural Golf Classic on Friday 6th of May 2016.
“The Classic will take place at the beautiful Donegal Golf Club located on the Murvagh peninsula and tee times will be available from 8am to 5pm. With support from many local businesses, the club have put together a fantastic list of prizes for this event.
“Prizes include:
