Donegal minors will play either Antrim or Monaghan in the Ulster Minor Football Championship Qualifier Round 2.
Gary Duffy’s side suffered a 14-point loss to Tyrone this evening in Ballybofey and must now enter the qualifiers.
Next weekend, Antrim will face Monaghan at Corrigan Park in a Round 1 qualifier with Donegal awaiting the winner of that tie.
Monaghan were beaten by Derry in the preliminary round last weekend after extra time.
But the Farney have already defeated Donegal this year, recording an impressive win in the Jim McGuigan League final at Drumragh.
Also in Round 2 of the qualifiers, Armagh will take on Derry.
The venues and times for the Qualifiers games will be confirmed by the Ulster Council’s Competitions Controls Committee (CCC) on Monday.
