DONEGAL CRASHED OUT OF the Ulster championship yesterday afternoon but this morning learned their fate in the qualifiers.
Rory Gallagher’s team were beaten by Tyrone 1-21 to 1-12 and will now play Longford on the weekend of July 1. Ballybofey will most likely host the fixture, although venues are still to be confirmed by the CCCC.
Donegal have met Longford once in the All-Ireland qualifiers, back in 2003 as Brian McEniff’s team won 1-17 to 1-11 on their way to the All-Ireland semi-final.
Round 2A draw:
Meath v Sligo
Mayo v Derry
Laois v Clare
Donegal v Longford
