DONEGAL CONTINUED THEIR winning streak in the Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 2 with a 24-point win over Kildare in Ballykelly yesterday.
Donegal 4-18 Kildare 0-6
Michael Naughton’s side did most of their damage in the first half as they led 4-11 to 0-2 at half-time.
Yvonne McMonagle (pictured above), fresh from her hat-trick against Clare three weeks’ beforehand, was on hand to goal twice, while Geraldine McLaughlin and Eilish Ward also found the net.
Mary Hulgraine in the Kildare goal performed admirably and her side’s interval deficit of 21 points would’ve been much more without her.
Aisling Holton and Mickaela McKenna scored for the home team in the first half.
Donegal were content enough to see it out after the break and added seven second half point, with Cavan their opponents next weekend.
