AODH RUADH club man David McLoone is the new Donegal GAA Development Officer.
McLoone staved off competition from Termon’s Grace Boyle at tonight’s monthly meeting of the Donegal county committee.
McLoone won the support of clubs with 43 votes in his favour against 38 for former county treasurer Boyle.
The vacancy arose when Terence McShea resigned due to personal reasons.
McLoone is a son of former Donegal County Manager Michael McLoone and was heavily involved in the development of Mundy’s Field in Ballyshannon.
