Francie Friel’s Donegal Under-17s roared to an emphatic win over Derry in Ballybofey today.

Donegal were in control in the first half with goals by Jamie Crawford and Mark McAteer for a 2-8 to no score lead in a one-sided half-an-hour.
Just three minutes into the second half, Donegal got another goal as Crawford fired home after good build-up.
Derry finally got off the mark, but Donegal surged on with Peter McEniff firing on a point.
Odhrán Duggan could have got a fourth Donegal goal, but blasted over the bar after racing through.
Oisin Bonner converted Donegal’s final point to seal a comfortable 14-point win.
