Ronan ‘Olly’ Doherty played a pivotal role in a Cliftonville side that narrowly defeated Ballymena United in the Co. Antrim Shield final last night.

Ballymena took the lead in Windsor Park on 54 minutes when Leroy Millar tapped home Andy McGrory’s excellent cross.
It looked for a long time that David Jeffrey’s side would hold out for the win.
However, substitute Thomas Maguire brought the Reds level in the fifth minute of injury-time.
ex-Finn Harps man Ryan Curran then struck a dramatic winner 85 seconds later to break Sky Blue hearts and spark wild celebrations.
Doherty first made a name for himself terrorising defences in the Ulster Senior League with Cockhill Celtic.
Doherty earned a move to Institute, where he enjoyed an impressive first season in the Danske Bank Premiership before the reds came calling last summer.
