Jesse Devers and Mark Timlin hit the goals last night as Finn Harps returned to winning ways with a fine away win at Galway United.

After a home defeat to Longford Town on Bank Holiday Monday, this represents a timely triumph for the Ballybofey side ahead of a home game against First Division leaders UCD on Friday night.
Devers, who registered a late goal in Harps’ win over Galway at Finn Park in the last round of games, struck after he beat Conor Gleeson in the 11th minute.
Sam Todd shot off target from distance,. while Galway went close when Alan Murphy smacked Ciaran Gallagher’s crossbar.
Harps doubled the lead seven minutes after the break when Timlin scored from a free kick.
Conor Barry netted for Galway in added time, but it wasn’t enough to deny Harps.
