JORDAN BOYCE HAS learned the details for his BDO Lakeside World Youth Championship final against England’s Joshua Richardson.
The 16-year-old Deele College student, who hails from Newtowncunningham, will face Richardson in the final at the iconic Lakeside Complex in Frimley Green, Surrey, on Thursday, January 7 next at 1pm.
After a gruelling qualifying process in October in Hull, Boyce battled his way to the final, which will be shown live on BBC 2 next month.
After wins against Brandon Nicholl, Pricilla Steenbergen, Maikel Verbek, Callum Graham and Graeme Hamilton, he overcame Job Ten Heuvel from Netherlands in the semi-final.
Boyce has been tipped for the top of his sport by the likes of Tony O’Shea, whom he played in a World Series of Darts qualifying match in October.
