Milford won the Donegal Division 2 Minor Championship at the expense of neighbours Termon at O’Donnell Park.

Ryan McMahon for Milford and Eoin Doherty for Termon exchanged early frees before Conor Mc Hugh kicked a fine point from play to give Milford the lead. McMahon then broke through for a goal chance but keeper Daire Russell denied him with an excellent save.
A goal did come a minute later but at the other end when a quick Termon free found Sean McNulty and he blasted the ball home from ten yards out to put Termon 1-01 to 0-02 ahead. Ryan Mc Mahon converted two frees to level it and then blasted home a penalty after Ryan Toye had been fouled and Milford were a goal ahead.
But not for long as Termon Shane Doherty raced from half-way past several defenders and drilled the ball past Ryan Flood for a super goal and the teams were level at 1-4 to 2-1.
Termon took over with five points in a row, Eoin Doherty scored from both play and a free, Shane Doherty did the same, and in between Jamie Grant got one from play to leave it 2-6 to 1-4 in Termon’s favour. Milford finally got going again and late points by Ronan Docherty and Rory O’Donnell left it 2-6 to 1-6 at the break.
Conor McFadden and Anton Grant got points for Termon and Rory O’Donnell and Ryan McMahon replied for Milford in the opening ten minutes of the second-half only some desperate goal-line blocking by Termon denied a Milford goal.
After a scoreless seven minute period McMahon kicked a super score from play to leave two between them 2-8 to 1-9 to Termon.
Shane Doherty hit back for Termon with a fine point to leave three in it again but  Milford then proceeded to kick the last five points of the match to win it.
Conor Mc Hugh replied immediately and it was back to two , points by Conor Gormley and Ronan Dochertyt levelled  it and then in the 58th minute Ryan Toye put Milford ahead, before the excellent Conor Mc Hugh drove forward to score his third point and put Milford two in front and that was enough to take the title.
