The Finn Harps U19 squad faces a long trip to take on Cork City in Saturday’s FAI U19 National League quarter-final at Bishopstown (kick-off 1pm).
Joe Boyle’s side will be underdogs for the game and will be anxious to avenge the heavy defeat suffered at the hands of the same opposition at this stage of the competition a year ago.
The manager will definitely be minus Mark Coyle and Simon McGlynn, who are suspended while there are doubts about another couple of players.
Boyle will probably be without striker BJ Banda (above) as the young striker is likely to be required for the Harps senior game against Bray Wanderers at Finn Park on this Friday night.
If the U19s upset the odds and win there is a big incentive as Harps would be home to UCD in the semi-finals of the competition.

However, right now Boyle’s boys face a mammoth task in overcoming Cork City who have a top class squad and who recently drew with HJK Helsinki in the first leg of their first round Uefa Youth League tie.
