DANNY MOONEY CONTINUED his rich run of form on the local 5k circuit last night when he won the Burtonport 5k.
Mooney won in a time of 16 minutes and four seconds, just four seconds faster than City of Derry Spartans man Kyle Doherty.
[adrotate group=”49″]Roy McGilloway from Foyle Valley was third in 16:24 with Letterkenny AC’s Ivan Toner fourth in 16:34 and Dermot McElchar (Finn Valley) in fifth in 16:37.
City of Derry Spartans’ Catherine Whoriskey was the first female home in 17:02.
