MATTHEW Coyle scored a late goal as St Mary’s Convoy overcame Urris in a tense Junior Championship tussle yesterday evening.

In glorious Straid sunshine, Coyle’s goal, in the final minute of time, made all the difference.
The teams were level at 0-6 apiece at half-time, with Joe McGill licking three points for St Mary’s.
Urris were aided by the likes of Luke Devlin, Tiernan McDonald and Shane Doherty.
The sides were tit-for-tat until the decisive moment arrived when Coyle, who was on as a substitute, bagged the game-winning goal in the dying embers.
