ADRIAN GLACKIN WAS this afternoon ratified as the new senior team manager of Glenswilly.
Glackin (pictured above by Geraldine Diver) has been involved in the club’s three senior championship wins in recent years – 2011, 2013 and this year, when the team managed by Michael Canning overcome Kilcar in Ballybofey.
[adrotate group=”59″]Canning has now stepped down, as has his assistant Gary McDaid. Glackin guided Glenswilly to the Senior Reserve Championship in 2015 and will have a backroom team that consists of George and Thomas Simmons, Chris Byrne, Brendan Walsh, Brian Gibbons, Lee Gildea, David Cafferkey and Tom Hennessy.
Eddie Crawford was appointed as the club’s chairman and this afternoon’s AGM.
