ACTIVITY has resumed at the Cloughaneely GAA club after a Covid-19 test on a player returned a negative result.
A Regional League game against St Michael’s, which had been scheduled for this evening, was postponed as a precaution.
In a health questionnaire this morning, a Cloughaneely player reported symptoms for Covid-19 meaning that, in line with GAA protocols, all players and coached who had been in contact went into self isolation.
However, the club has now confirmed that the test produced a negative result.
The club said: “We are delighted to say that our short suspension of club activities has been lifted as a Covid test came back negative. All activities can resume.”
