CLOUGANEELY this evening ratified its new managers for the 2017 season at the club AGM.
Michael Lynch has been appointed as the new senior team manager at Pairc Naomh Fionnan for the new campaign.
After two years at the helm, John Paul Gallagher opted not to seek a third year as manager of his home club.
Lynch has been selected as the successor, while Martin Duggan has been appointed as the club’s Under-21 manager.
In 2016, Cloughaneely were beaten by Burt in the Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure Intermediate Championship quarter-final, while they finished fourth in the AllSportStore.com All-County Football League Division 2, ending the year just three points away from a promotion spot.
