Above is a photograph of the St. Eunan’s College senior team from the 1930s – and what a brilliant old-school photo it truly is.
This photo, in postcard form, was sent in by Donegal man Ciaran McFadden who received it when his uncle died in California several years ago.
The postcard was produced by Cooper of Strabane.
It’s a photograph of the 1936 – 1937 senior team – the year Aodh Ruadh won the Donegal Senior Championship against Gaoth Dobhair by 3-8 to 4-2.
These boys, if alive today, would be almost one hundred years old.
