Letterkenny AC’s Ciaran McGonigle was the winner of this morning’s Donegal Half Marathon.
McGonigle finished in one hour, 15 minutes and 56 seconds.
Marty Lynch from Milford AC was second in one hour, 16 minutes and 55 seconds while Letterkenny 24/7 Club’s Gavin Crawford came third in one hour, 17 minutes and 34 seconds.
The Donegal Half Marathon was officially launched by Cathaoirleach of the Letterkenny Municipal District Cllr Ian McGarvey and took runners and walkers around the Letterkenny and New Mills areas.
Monica McGranaghan, of Letterkenny AC, was the winner of the women’s race in 1 hour, 29 minutes and 24 seconds with City Of Lisburn’s Eimear McCracken (1:30:48) second and LAC’s Marie Boyle (1:35:50) in third.
