IT’S AN IMAGE THAT gives a little insight into the team spirit of newly-crowned Donegal SFC champions, Naomh Conaill.
Originally posted on Facebook by Martin Gallagher, a member of Martin Regan’s backroom team, it shows Gallagher with forward Dermot Molloy, goalkeeper Stephen McGrath and goalkeeper Leo McLoone.
The quartet are pictured yesterday with Dr Maguire, several years after the first picture of the four was taken!
“It doesn’t get any better than leading those boys up the steps – that’s something you dream of,” McLoone said yesterday after inspiring them to a win over St Eunan’s.
“Those are the boys I’ve grown up with, gone to school with, fought with and done everything with.”
And he has a picture to prove it!
