Patsy McGonagle might be ‘Mr Athletics’ both here in Donegal and further afield but he’s on the outside looking in with a world champion today.

Patrick Brennan was the winner of the John Kilmartin Memorial run out of Milford AC on Friday evening. 

In the Finn Valley AC vest, Brennan ran a fine time of 15 minutes and 19 seconds to finish ahead of Chris McGuinness from Foyle Valley with Declan Ferry of Rosses in third. Letterkenny’s Nakita Burke was the first female home in a time of 16:14.
