CARNDONAGH GAA CLUB ran a Jigs & Reels fundraiser last week in the Plaza Buncrana.
The event raised a massive €22,100. This was amount prior to distribution of 20% to two nominated charities – Supervised Residential Unit (SRU), Carndonagh and Lifeline (Inishowen) who will get €2,210 each.
The dance teachers were Finvola Lyons and Darcy Lyons, compere was Lee Gooch and 14 couples participated. It really was a great night with great support and a great community spirit. John and Catherine won the public vote and Paul and Nadean won the judges’ vote.
