CARL MCHUGH WAS on the mark as Plymouth Argyle maintained their place at the top of Sky Bet League Two.
The Lettemacaward native opened the scoring on three minutes in a 3-2 win for Aygyle, heading home from close range following a delivery from Jake Jervis.
Charlie Lee scored a sixth minute equaliser for Teddy Sheringham’s Stevenage, who had Letterkenny’s Dale Gorman as an unused substitute.
Goals from Gregg Wylde and Tanner put Argyle 3-1 up at half-time but they were made sweat on the three points, with Lee scoring a second for Stevenage on 48 minutes.
