FOLLOWING THEIR LEAGUE and cup double, Cappry Rovers added the U-12 Champions League title with win over Kilmacrennan Celtic this evening at Leckview Park.

Three goals in the first half half & two in the second period had them comfortable winners over a gallant Kilmacrennan side. Cappry Rovers carried their favourites’ tag very well having earlier reached the the last 32 in the National Cup.
Cappry took the initiative early on with sustained attacks with the Lurgy keeper Kevin Mallon making a series of excellent saves from Luke McGlynn and Sean McMenamin.
The deadlock was broken in the 23rd minute with a wonder strike from Andrew Murray from 25 yards giving Mallon no chance with his super strike.
Cappry doubled their advantage on 29 mins when Kevin McCormick scored a real poachers goal into the right hand corner of the net giving the keeper no chance.
Cappry added a third on the stroke of half time following a great Oisin McGlinchey delivery. Luke McGlynn out jumped the defence to head to the net.
Kilmacrennan had their best spell early in the second half with McGrenra going close from a free kick. Mark Mbuli rounded his marker on the 43rd minute to score a excellent goal. Finally Kevin McCormick scored his second with a skilful header from another brilliant cross from Oisin McGlinchey.
