Last weekend saw Donegal’s top mountain bikers Gerard Curran, Adam Voss and Callum Morris make the trip to Bigwood Forest near Newry Co Down for round two of the Vitus Enduro Cup.
This race also doubled up as the Ulster Enduro Championships.
For Tir Chonaill Gap CC members Gerard and Adam it was their first trip to the venue but they quickly learned the stages during Saturday’s practice and come race day on Sunday they were fully focused on giving their all.
With clean runs on all 6 stages Gerrard finished 24th in a tough vets category.
Adam was going well but unfortunately he broke a gear cable on stage 4 which slowed him down but still managed 25th in the senior class.
Inishowen rider Callum continued his fantastic start to the season with another win in the U14 category winning every stage he extended his lead in the Vitus Enduro Cup series and was delighted to lift the Ulster title.

Next up is a trip to Bree in County Wexford for round two of the Irish Downhill Series where Adam and Callum will be in action.
