Supporters traveling to the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open in Ballyliffin are advised that the R238 from Burnfoot to Buncrana has re-opened.
The road was closed and diversions were put in place following a fatal road traffic accident yesterday evening.
A man in his 50s, understood to be from Buncrana, died when his motorbike was in collision with a car at Castleforward just before 5.30pm.
A full investigation has been launched by Gardai into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
All diversions which had been put in place have also been removed.
Motorists are advised to allow extra journey for travel to Ballyliffin with huge volumes of traffic heading to Ballyliffin.
