BRENDAN Dunleavy cut a frustrated figure on Saturday night as he surveyed a Championship defeat against Gaoth Dobhair.
Goals by Martin O’Reilly and Alan Patton gave MacCumhaills hope, but with Odhrán Mac Niallais in sparkling form the Gaeltacht men had done enough.
“It took us a while to believe that we could beat Gaoth Dobhair,” Dunleavy told Donegal Sport Hub.
“It was just that little bit too late. We missed a number of chances in the first half and I think we showed Gaoth Dobhair too much respect.”
