Milford woman Amber Barrett was on the mark yesterday for Peamount United in a 2-2 draw with UCD Waves.
Barrett – who also played for the Donegal senior ladies team – fired Peamount in front in the 31st minute and when Eleanor Ryan Doyle put the Peas two up just before half-time, they looked on course for a win.
However, UCD Waves hit back and, with Aine O’Gorman and Kerri Letmon on target, they fought back to earn a draw.
Peamount are in second spot in the Women’s National League, just three points behind leaders Wexford Youths.
Roma McLaughlin’s Shelbourne drew with Galway at the weekend, but the Greencastle midfielder wasn’t in the Reds’ squad.
