WILLIAM LYNCH says Kildrum Tigers went at Erne Wanderers ‘like a day’s work’ to get a place in the fifth round of the FAI Junior Cup.
James Melly, Declan Curtis and Ethan Coll were also on the mark for Shane Brown’s team, who looked in danger of crashing out when first Barry Mulligan and then Shane McGrath netted for Erne.
“We showed great character in the second half,” Lynch told Donegal Sport Hub.

“We rolled up the sleeves and went at them like a day’s work. We got four goals in the second half and we’re away to Limerick next week full of confidence.
“They didn’t know what hit them at the start of the second half. We lifted the intensity, every man started to work and they couldn’t handle us. Fair play to the boys, everyone dug in.”
Kildrum are on their way to Abbeyfeale United in south Limerick this Sunday and the St Johnston men – joint top of the Premier Division alongside Drumoghill FC – are dreaming big again.
