TONY MCNAMEE has excelled since making a spot in Ollie Horgan’s first XI his own.
McNamee is now a regular in the Finn Harps team and the Ramelton man is looking forward to Friday night’s First Division play-off first leg against UCD at Belfield.
“It’s a big week for us and for a lot of people at the club,” he told Donegal Sport Hub.
“We’ve done reasonably well all year.
“We had a few minor set-backs. The one down in Wexford was crazy because we didn’t get out of the blocks at all, but we bounced back and we’ve showed teams that we can get the ball down and play a bit.
“At the start of the season we were based about getting out of there with a clean sheet. The Longford game, we opened up and we showed a lot of people that we can play against teams of a higher standard.”
