FORMER FINN HARPS MIDFIELDER Tom Mohan was back at Finn Park to witness Friday night’s play-off win against UCD.
Mohan played seven season at Finn Park and was a real fans’ favourite during his time in Ballybofey.
Now the Republic of Ireland Under-17 manager, Mohan – a native of Fermanagh – rolled the memory back as he surveyed a crowd in excess of 2,000 upon Finn Park’s concrete again.
“The Premier Division needs Finn Harps with crowds like this,” Mohan told Donegal Sport Hub.
“It just goes to show what this club is about. When there is some success or when they’re on the fringe of success people will come out. There’s a great fan base here.”
Mohan is currently doing his UEFA Pro Licence alongside the Harps manager Ollie Horgan.
Mohan said: “The team’s performance is a reflection on the type of fella that Ollie is – he puts his heart and soul into it. When the chips were down, the players stood up like men.”
