SHANE BYRNE CAN FEEL things taking shape again as Glengad United set about retaining the Jackie Crossan Premier Division title.
A 4-0 win away to fellow title hopefuls QPS on Sunday saw Glengad flex their muscles.
Michael Byrne came on as a late substitute having missed the best part of a year because of a hip injury and Charlie Byrne is also back in tow.
Paddy McDermott (2), Seamus Doherty and Matthew Byrne hit the goals on Sunday, all of them coming in the second half.
“It’s a great result,” the Glengad manager told Donegal Sport Hub.
“We take one game at a time. We’ll put as much effort into every game – that’s the way you go about retaining a title.
“We’re looking good as a panel. Whether we get the results is another story, but I’ll be a happy manager if I have all the players back.”
