AFTER WINNING THEIR FIRST All-County League title at the wekend the ‘big one’ – the Senior Football Championship – is now the aim for St Michael’s.
The already-crowned League winners (pictured above, courtesy of Geraldine Diver) defeated St Eunan’s at The Bridge on Saturday evening to round off an unbeaten season on home soil and Donegal County Chairman Sean Dunnion was on hand to present the Democrat Cup to the club for the first time.
“It’s a great day for St Michael’s – it’s our first senior title so it’s a very proud day for us all,” St Michael’s Chairman Liam McElhinney told Donegal Sport Hub.
“The big one is the Championship, but we won’t devalue this Cup. We’re delighted with it.”
