SEOSAMH MAC CEALLABHUÍ, the Coláiste Ailigh manager, said his side paid the price for missed chances in Tuesday’s Senior B final against Moville Community College.
The 2015 Ulster finalists kicked seven wides in the first half and were picked off by Moville, who won 5-3 to 1-7 after Coláiste Ailigh had led 1-2 to no score.
“The slow start killed us, with four simple wides,” Mac Ceallabhuí told Donegal Sport Hub.
“When you have that early on it’s going to hit you. We did hit 1-2, but we knew fine well in the second half that we were in trouble.
“When you go five up and allow the other team back level you’re in bother. The three goals were suckers in the second half.”
