Audio: Shane Gallagher content with draw as Deele keep up title tilt

DEELE HARPS PLAYER-MANAGER Shane Gallagher was satisfied with Sunday’s 1-1 draw against fellow promotion hopefuls Glenree United.

Tom Mullen’s equaliser for Deele earned Deele a share of the spoils after Karl McElhinney fired table-toppers Glenree ahead.

“We’d have taken a draw before we came here and definitely after going a goal down,” Gallagher told Donegal Sport Hub.

“Glenree are a big, strong and physical side. Whoever finished above them will win the League.

“You can see why these two teams are up there challenging for honours – they give very little away.”
