RYAN CURRAN KEPT up his superb record from the spot last night as Finn Harps defeated Longford Town in Ballybofey.
Curran’s penalty, in the 57th minute, fired Harps to a deserved win over the Midlanders.
“I’m happy to hit penalties and I won’t shy away from them,” said Curran, who revealed that he’s never missed a penalty.

“This is a massive three points and we want to just keep building on that.
“There’s a huge difference between a win and a draw.”
Harps were well in command of this one, but it was only when Curran netted that Finn Park exhaled in relief.
For long spells, Harps had Longford on the rack with a verve rarely seen around Finn Park.
Curran said: “We can graft out results, but there is some quality there too. We’re playing some good stuff too. We can go and play teams too when it comes to it.
“We had a good 15 minute spell at the start of the second half and we created as many chances there as we have all year. We died off a bit after that. We defended well.”
