DONEGAL MANAGER RORY GALLAGHER expressed his disappointment with Michael Murphy’s sending off against Dublin tonight – and feels that his captain ‘gets refereed differently’.
Murphy was given two yellow cards and Gallagher took grave exception to the treatment of the Glenswilly man.

Gallagher, in his assessment, referenced an incident in the first minute of the recent game against Kerry, when Kieran Donaghy jostled Murphy to the ground, but escaped sanction.
Donegal were only a point in arrears when Murphy was sent off.
“The sending off was crucial,” Gallagher said after the 1-10 to 0-7 defeat.
“I would be very disappointed in the first yellow card. The first player, the Dublin mis-soloed the ball.
“Michael gets refereed, in our opinion, differently. It was the same in Kerry with an incident in the first minute, when a player didn’t get booked.”
